For some people, making and decorating Christmas cookies is an annual tradition. This year, why not include your pups?

Ingredients:
• 1 1⁄2 cups whole wheat flour
• 2 teaspoons ground ginger
• 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
• 1⁄2 teaspoon ground cloves
• 1⁄2 cup molasses
• 1⁄2 cup water
• 1 1⁄2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1⁄4 cup vegetable oil

To begin, mix all of the flours and spices together in a bowl. Then, add the molasses, oil, and water in. Mix together until combined. Add additional water or flour as needed until the dough is moist, but not sticky.
Roll out the dough to shape. Use your favorite cookie cutters to cut out the cookies in whatever shapes you would like. Bake at 350° F for 20 minutes. Enjoy!

Snowball Dog Treats

These treats are no-bake and super simple! The perfect snacks for the pups at any holiday party!

Ingredients:

• 1 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
• 1/2 cup coconut flour
• 1 cup oat flour
• 1 cup plain nonfat yogurt
• 1/4 cup unsweetened natural peanut butter
• 1 tbsp coconut oil
• 1 tsp vanilla extract

Place all of the ingredients into a food processor and mix until the dough holds together. Take the dough by handful and form into balls. You can adjust the size as you like. Roll each ball into a bowl of flaked coconut, squeezing as you go to help the coconut stick. Keep refrigerated and use within a week.

Turkey and Cranberry Dog Bones

Treat your pup to a holiday meal in cookie form. These classic flavors are dog-friendly and delicious!

Ingredients:
• 3 ½ cups whole wheat flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1 cup shredded cooked turkey
• 1 cup dried cranberries
• 1 egg
• 1 tablespoon olive oil
• 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth

Preheat the oven to 350° F. In a large bowl, whisk the whole wheat flour and baking powder together until thoroughly combined. Stir in the cooked turkey and dried cranberries. Make a hole in the center of the flour mixture, and drop the egg into the center. Pour in the olive oil and 1/2 cup of chicken broth. Mix until the dough is soft. If the mixture is too dry, you can mix in more chicken broth until the dough is of desired consistency. Roll the dough out onto a floured work surface, and knead for 1-2 minutes. Roll the dough out and cut out with your favorite cookie cutters. Bake for 25 minutes or until the treats turn brown. Turn the oven off, and leave the dog treats in the oven an additional 30 minutes to dry out. Yum!
