* Please double check any allergies or dietary needs with your vet if you are unsure of your pup’s dietary needs! We want to make sure they have a great time enjoying a special treat with you and no one ends up with an unhappy tummy!

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 350 °F

Step 2

In a bowl, mix together ¾ cup of oat flour, ½ cup unsweetened applesauce, and 1 Large Egg to make the dough for the crust. Continue to mix until a dough forms and all ingredients are incorporated.

Step 3

Scoop approximately 1 tbs of the crust dough into each cup of the muffin pan. Press the dough mixture into the bottom and up the sides of the cup to form a shallow well to hold the filling.

Step 4

Bake the crust for 8 minutes and remove the pan from the oven. The crusts should have a little bit of color and be fully baked when they come out.

Step 5

To make the filling, mix together 15 oz pumpkin puree, 1 tbsp of honey, 1 large egg, and 1/4 tsp of cinnamon with an electric mixer.

Step 6

Once the filling mixture is smooth, evenly fill each crust in the muffin pan with approximately 1 tbs of the mixture.

Step 7

Bake the filled pies for 18-20 minutes. Remove from the oven and transfer to a cooling rack once the pies have cooled slightly. Once on the cooling rack, allow the pies to cool to room temperature.

Step 8

Once pies are fully cooled, top each pie with a dollop of plain Greek yogurt and a small sprinkle of cinnamon. Serve to your pup!

Notes:
Pies can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days, or frozen for up to 3 months. To thaw, place pies in the fridge overnight.

To make a whole pie rather than mini pies, place all of the dough in a pie pan and press the dough into the sides and bottom to form a shallow well. Bake the crust for 8 minutes. Add the filling evenly to fill the crust and bake for 30 minutes. Allow to cool and add your topping!

Our office dogs loved these festive treats and we hope your furry friends love them as well! Do you or your pup have a favorite holiday food? Let us know how you celebrate in the comments!
