As of 2024, 65.1 million American households own a dog - that's nearly 40% of households in the United States! Not only that, but in 2024, it is estimated that Americans will spend $150 billion on pet care (that's a lot of money!).

Sassy Woof loves to dress pups of all shapes and sizes in fashionable and comfortable products, and their humans are going all out. Not just on stylish products for their pups - people are now buying homes with their pups in mind and at the top of the priority list.
One survey conducted in 2022, showed that 72% of prospective buyers with pets revealed that they would forgo buying their dream home because it didn't accommodate their pet. Americans are willing to move to better accommodate their pet and are on the hunt for more pet-friendly home features. In 2023, 14% owners surveyed stated that they moved from an apartment to a house so that their dog would have a yard.

In addition to picking a house with their pups in mind, more and more people are also bringing their dogs on vacations with them. Why wouldn't you? They deserve some time off too! One survey conducted found that 82% of dog owners travel with their dogs by car. With companies like Airbnb offering dog-friendly stays, it is easier than ever to bring them along for the ride.
