Licensing and Strategic Partnerships Associate

Position Type: Office - Full Time. No remote availability.

This is an intro-level position where you will work closely with our licensing and retail partners to ensure that we continue to deliver the best experience and most incredible pet products. This position is better fit for someone that enjoys a relationship-building approach and consensus decision making in a fast-paced environment.

There are two fundamental requirements to be considered for this role. First, you must be able to commute to our Sterling, VA, office. Second, you must LOVE animals, including dogs and cats. Merely liking them is not enough. You must love the paws, the licks, and the fur. We are in the pet industry, one that never stops evolving and innovating.

 What You’ll Do:

  • Maintain relationships with partners and also serving as a point of contact to our retail partners answering their needs, provide updates, and come up with ideas for new programs and projects
  • Create and implement programs that align with company and department goals
  • Identify opportunities for growth and improvement, and reporting insights to the licensing team and leadership
  • Create monthly presentations for partners - what we’ve launched and what is coming
  • Assign in tracking incoming programs and launches
  • Work with the creative team to highlight partners and current collaborations.
  • Collect information from ongoing sales to project for future sales (products, color trends, etc). and make presentable for partners
  • Track submission status for inline programs/approvals
  • Develop and foster relationships with small boutiques and wholesale accounts

 What You Bring:

  • Associate's degree in business or related field with equivalent experience.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Highly organized and initiative-taking individual with ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to collaborate effectively with colleagues across departments and levels.
  • Enthusiastic about pets and their well-being!
